Istanbul Airports
There are two airports in Istanbul, one on the European side and one on the Asian side.
Do not be confused. The old international Ataturk Airport (ISL) now serves cargo and general aviation flights. You will fly to Istanbul Airport (IST).
The airports in Istanbul are called Istanbul Airport (IST) and Sabiha Gokcen Airport (SAW). Each airport is located on a separate continent—Europe and Asia—and are therefore quite far from each other.
We have prepared separate pages for each airport in Istanbul below. Please check the links if you are interested. On each page, you will find information about airport transfers, flights, shopping, car rentals, and more.
