Fenerbahce Park
Fenerbahçe Park is located on the Asian side of Istanbul, in Kadıköy. It is one of the largest parks in the city, lying along the Marmara Sea with a stunning view of the Prince Islands in the background. While it’s not a popular tourist spot, it’s a favorite among locals, especially on weekends when it gets quite crowded.
The park offers picnic tables and plenty of grassy areas where you can relax or even take a nap. Open 24 hours a day, it’s a clean and well-maintained park, standing out as one of Istanbul’s most notable green spaces. The on-site cafés are bustling with people, particularly on weekends.
Getting to the park by car can be challenging due to the limited parking spaces compared to the high demand on weekends. Instead, consider taking a bus, dolmuş, or cab from the Kadıköy ferry terminal. Alternatively, park your car wherever you find a spot before entering the parking zone. 😊
Here are some photos I took on a Sunday, the busiest day at the park. People were enjoying a sunny Istanbul day. Feel free to use the photos—just include a link to our site, and that’s all I ask!
