A visit to Beylerbeyi Palace takes you back in time. Upon arrival, you’ll pay the entrance fee, as usual, and then walk through a tunnel adorned with art before reaching the grand garden of the palace. Located on the Bosphorus shore, the palace sits almost directly beneath the Bosphorus Bridge. At the back of the palace, there’s a cafe where you can relax and enjoy a snack.
Visitors cannot explore the palace on their own; instead, guided tours are available in both English and Turkish. These tours depart every 45 to 60 minutes and are included in the entrance fee. Each tour lasts about 30 minutes. Photography is not permitted inside the palace, but you can view some photos of the palace below. Inside, you’ll have the chance to see the Sultan’s bedrooms, living rooms, and meeting rooms, all of which are beautifully adorned with art.
